"Oblivion Remastered Images Leak from Developer Site"

Author : Harper May 18,2025

Exciting news has emerged for fans of The Elder Scrolls series, as a leak from developer Virtuos' website has unveiled details and screenshots of the long-rumored The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. The images, which have been shared across platforms like ResetEra and Reddit, showcase significant enhancements in models, details, and overall visual fidelity, promising a refreshed experience of the beloved 2006 game.

The leak was first brought to light by Wario64 on Twitter, who shared the images and a link to the now largely inaccessible Virtuos website. Despite the quick removal of the content, the internet has already been flooded with the leaked screenshots and information.

According to VGC, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is a collaborative effort between Virtuos and Bethesda's studios in Dallas and Rockville. Virtuos, known for their work on remasters such as The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition, is bringing their expertise to this project.

The remastered version is set to launch on PC, Xbox Series X|S (available on Game Pass), and PlayStation 5. Additionally, a Deluxe Edition is rumored to be in the works, offering exclusive bonuses such as weapons and horse armor—a playful reference to the infamous 2006 DLC.

Rumors of an Oblivion remaster have been circulating since the Microsoft-FTC trial in 2023, with recent reports suggesting a possible shadow-drop release as early as this month. While no official statement or reveal has been made yet, the substantial amount of leaked information points to an imminent launch of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated remaster, which promises to bring the classic RPG into the modern era with stunning visual upgrades and new content.
