April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

Author : Savannah May 14,2025

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers in April 2025, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These titles were announced in a recent PlayStation.Blog post and will be available to subscribers starting April 1, until the next rotation on May 5.

The April lineup caters to a variety of gaming preferences. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, is a standout first-person shooter that lets players step into the boots of Alex Murphy as he battles to restore order in a crime-infested Detroit. A significant update in January of the previous year introduced a New Game Plus mode, enhancing the replay value. Our review at launch awarded it a commendable 7/10, praising its faithful rendition of the '80s classic.

For those seeking a thrilling multiplayer experience, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers an intense asymmetrical gameplay where players can either survive or hunt as part of the Slaughter Family. It promises a chilling encounter with Leatherface and his chainsaw. Despite some technical challenges, our review gave it a 6/10, noting its potential for entertaining, albeit brief, gameplay sessions.

Rounding out the trio, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco provides a more relaxed pace with its turn-based, monster-collecting gameplay. Released in 2018, it expands the digital world with over 320 Digimon to collect and explore, offering a fresh perspective on the events of the original Cyber Sleuth.

As these titles become available, PlayStation Plus subscribers should also consider downloading the March 2025 games before they are replaced on March 31. The previous month's selection included Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, making it a strong lineup worth adding to your library.

With such a diverse range of games, April 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers.
