"Like A Dragon Launches 20th Anniversary Merch Voting Project"

Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is gearing up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the beloved Like A Dragon (LAD) series, culminating in December 2025. To mark this milestone, RGG Studios has launched an exciting fan-voting project where enthusiasts can select their favorite in-game items to be transformed into real-life merchandise. The voting, which began on February 8, 2025, and will conclude on March 21, 2025, offers fans a unique chance to influence the celebration by choosing from a diverse array of 100 items, including lingerie, incense, mahjong tiles, a karaoke microphone, a luxury lighter, 20th-anniversary sake, themed pillows, and Kiryu’s iconic dragon mask, among others. According to the RGG voting website, the item that garners the most votes is guaranteed to be commercialized within the next two years, with a subsequent questionnaire to finalize its design.

The festivities kick off with the release of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 20, 2025, promising a thrilling new chapter in the saga.

While no further announcements have been made about additional events or games for the 20th anniversary, fans are hopeful, drawing parallels to the series' 10th anniversary, which saw the release of remakes like Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. The anticipation is high for what RGG Studio has in store for this significant milestone.

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii PC Requirements

On February 10, 2025, RGG Studio shared the PC requirements for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii via Twitter (X). The recommended graphics card is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or any equivalent or newer, making it accessible for most gaming setups. The game will also be available on previous-gen consoles such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, ensuring broad compatibility. Additionally, RGG Studios confirmed that the game is Steam Deck verified, further broadening its reach. SEGA recently released a story trailer on YouTube, narrated by the Pirate King Raymond Law, voiced by wrestling superstar Samoa Joe, showcasing Majima’s adventures on the High Seas.
