My Hero Academia: The Strongest Ends Service After 4 Years

Fans of *My Hero Academia: The Strongest* were hit with some bittersweet news recently. Xin Yuan Studios announced the end-of-service (EOS) for this popular action RPG, which brought Kohei Horikoshi’s beloved anime to mobile devices worldwide back in May 2021. Published by Sony Pictures Television, KOMOE Game Corporation, and A-Plus Japan, the game allowed players to step into the *My Hero Academia* universe, assemble a team featuring fan favorites like Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki, and embark on adventures in an engaging open world.

When Is My Hero Academia: The Strongest Shutting Down?

The game's servers are scheduled to shut down on March 31st, 2025. As part of the EOS process, the game was delisted from Google Play and the iOS App Store on February 24th, 2025, with in-game purchases being disabled from that date. Post March 31st, not only will the servers be offline, but all official social media accounts related to the game will also be deleted.

However, the customer support team will remain available for an additional 30 days to assist with any inquiries. Players who made purchases between January 25th and February 24th, 2025, are eligible to apply for a refund before the server shutdown. Additionally, as a farewell gesture, the developers are gifting every existing player with a reward mail containing SSS+ Limited Time Heroes and 100,000 Hero Coins. For more details on this, check out the game's official website.

Why Is It Shutting Down?

The closure of *My Hero Academia: The Strongest* might not come as a shock in the world of gacha RPGs, where game shutdowns have become more commonplace. The game enjoyed a robust start, boasting lag-free PvP and a compelling combat system. Despite this promising launch, the game's appeal diminished over time due to a lack of significant updates since its first anniversary, coupled with instances of mismanagement. It's quite remarkable that the game managed to stay operational for nearly four years under these conditions.

As we close the chapter on *My Hero Academia: The Strongest*, stay tuned for our coverage of *Legacy – Reawakening*, a new point-and-click adventure game set in a world of steampunk ruins and eerie mysteries.
