Hunting AI animals in Ecos La Brea can be challenging, but with the right approach, you'll succeed. Here's a guide to mastering AI hunting:

Stealth is Key: Successful AI hunting hinges on stealth. Use your scent button to locate nearby animals, indicated by animal icons. A meter will appear when you crouch, showing how close you are to spooking the AI. Movement directly impacts this meter.

Movement Strategy: Your speed significantly affects how quickly the spook meter fills. Sprinting fills it instantly, running rapidly increases it, trotting is slower, and walking is the slowest—ideal for close approaches. Wind direction matters too: downwind spooks the AI faster, crosswind is moderate, and upwind is optimal.

Reading the AI: A question mark above the animal icon indicates increased sensitivity. Halt movement until it disappears to avoid spooking the AI prematurely.

The Chase: The spook meter will likely fill before you reach the AI. Be ready to sprint; they're fast, but you should be able to catch them if you're sprinting. AI movement is unpredictable, so practice in open areas with minimal obstacles for better visibility.

The Kill: Get very close to bite and subdue your prey. Drop and eat your kill, then repeat the hunting cycle until satisfied.
