"Kingdom Come: Deliverance Stars Bid Farewell in Final Curtain Call"

A chapter in the history of Kingdom Come: Deliverance has come to a close. After years of lending their voices and souls to the beloved RPG, Tom McKay and Luke Dale have stepped away from the microphone for the last time at Warhorse Studios. Their farewell was a moment of reflection—one filled with gratitude, nostalgia, and an undeniable sense of finality.

Yet, even in their final hours, the wheels of change were already turning. As the actors recorded their last lines, Warhorse Studios was auditioning new talent to take on the roles of Henry and Hans. The irony wasn’t lost on them—a farewell for one generation marked the birth of another.

McKay, renowned for his portrayal of Henry, spoke candidly about the unique sense of family that had formed around the project:

“In the creative world, people often call their teams a ‘family,’ but rarely does it hold true. Here, however, it was different. The connections I made on this journey are some of the deepest and longest-lasting of my career.”

The notion of family was not just a theme in their personal journey but also a central motif in the game itself. Henry’s tragic loss of his parents fueled his story, just as McKay’s own experience with losing his father made certain scenes particularly moving. For him, the game was more than just a project—it was a deeply personal experience.
