If you've been diving into Haegin's latest Dreamland update in Play Together, you might be enchanted by the unique mechanic of needing to sleep to access this dreamy realm. But have you ever pondered what would happen if these delightful, surreal dreams took a darker turn? The new Nightmare update now lets you experience exactly that.
Dreamland has transformed into a Nightmare, thanks to the sinister influence of the Queen of the Night. Nightmare monsters aren't just haunting the dream world; they've started to infiltrate the 'real world' of Kaia Island as well. To restore peace before the event concludes on May 21st, you'll need to confront the Queen and her minions head-on.
You'll face off against five types of Nightmare Monsters, including the Sneering Pillow and the Abandoned Doll, which have taken over the island. To banish them, you'll wield the newly introduced Dream Gun. Successfully defeating all these creatures will earn you a unique reward: the Bed Consumed by Nightmares mount!
**Night terrors**
But it's not just the Nightmare Monsters you need to be wary of; the usual creatures of Kaia Island have also fallen victim to the nightmares. You'll encounter new varieties of fish and insects, which you can catch and trade for Nightmare Essence, the event's special currency.
Over in the Dreamland Workshop, you can craft new nightmare-themed furniture, such as the Nightmare Music Box and the Nightmare Garden Lamp. Plus, there's a new companion to add to your collection: the Nightmare Sheep.
