**Split Fiction** immerses players in the diverse worlds crafted by two fiction writers, offering a groundbreaking co-op experience where two players can enjoy the game even if only one owns it. Launched in March, the game has already proven to be another hit for Hazelight and its designer, Josef Fares, having sold over two million copies within its first week. It's also set to be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2 as Hazelight begins development on their next project.Furthermore, a film adaptation of Split Fiction is in development, with Story Kitchen, known for their work on the Sonic films, currently assembling the writing team, director, and cast, which will include Sydney Sweeney.
In our IGN Split Fiction review, we described the game as "an expertly crafted and absorbing co-op adventure that pinballs from one genre extreme to another." We noted that it is "a rollercoaster of gameplay ideas and styles that are usually discarded as quickly as they’re introduced. This keeps it fabulously fresh for its full, 14-hour duration."
