Marvel Rivals Reveals New Stats and Most Picked Heroes

Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Approaches with New Hero Data and Fantastic Four

NetEase has unveiled new player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's first month. The data reveals surprising favorites and underdogs, setting the stage for the upcoming Season 1 and the arrival of the Fantastic Four.

The launch of Marvel Rivals in early December proved a resounding success for NetEase. Now, as Season 1 approaches on January 10th, a final look at the initial month's hero performance reveals some interesting trends. The introduction of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman (with The Human Torch and The Thing following mid-season) adds significant excitement to the game's future.

NetEase's "Hero Hot List" shows clear favorites: Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay across both PC and console platforms. For competitive play, Cloak & Dagger leads on consoles, while Luna Snow dominates on PC.

However, popularity doesn't always equate to victory. Mantis, a Strategist hero, boasts the highest win rate overall, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

At the other end of the spectrum, Storm, a Duelist, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive), largely attributed to fan criticism of her damage and gameplay. But hope remains for Storm players: Season 1 balance changes include substantial buffs for the X-Men character, potentially boosting her popularity and win rate.

Marvel Rivals Most Picked Heroes:

  • Jeff the Land Shark – Quickplay (PC & Console)
  • Cloak & Dagger – Competitive (Console)
  • Luna Snow – Competitive (PC)
