Reverse-Horror 'Carrion' Prepares for Mobile Launch

Reverse-Horror

Devolver Digital's impressive Android game library, featuring titles like GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones, is about to get even better. The chilling "reverse-horror" game, Carrion, is making its mobile debut on October 31st.

Initially released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, this mobile version promises the same terrifying experience.

Carrion Mobile: A Horror From Within

In Carrion, you embody a nightmarish creature – the source of the horror itself. Control a mysterious, red, amorphous blob as it slithers, claws, and devours everything in its path. This "reverse-horror" concept flips the script; you're not surviving the terror, you are the terror.

The game casts you as "The Monster," imprisoned within a high-security Relith Science research facility. Scientists have experimented on your DNA, attempting to control you. But your escape is imminent, and your revenge is coming. Your goal: escape the facility by any means necessary, consuming scientists, security guards, and anyone who stands in your way. Navigate vents, smash doors, and unleash your tentacles to hunt. Carrion on mobile delivers the same thrilling chaos as its PC counterpart.

Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, allowing you to breach barricades and grow in size. See it in action:

Pre-Register Now!

Fans of Metroidvania-style games will appreciate Carrion's blend of exploration and progression. The pixel art style surprisingly complements the game's gory elements.

Carrion on mobile offers a free trial. Unlock the full game and its DLC with a single in-app purchase. Pre-register on the Google Play Store now or download it directly on October 31st.
