Game Room pops a new addition to its catalogue with Word Wright

Author : Christopher Mar 25,2025

Game Room, the beloved Apple Arcade title, is expanding its already impressive lineup with the addition of Word Wright, a fresh take on classic board games. Available now within Game Room, Word Wright introduces an exciting new dimension to the platform's offerings.

Word Wright is a captivating hidden-word puzzle game that challenges players to find 20-35 words daily from hand-crafted puzzles, each based on a set of selected letters. The game supports six languages and allows you to compete with friends worldwide. To aid your word hunt, you'll receive three hints per day. Importantly, Word Wright is compatible with both the Apple Vision Pro and other iOS devices, making it accessible to a broader audience.

This new addition joins a diverse collection of classics in Game Room, including Solitaire, Checkers, and Sea Battle. While Word Wright was initially highlighted as a flagship experience for the Vision Pro, its support for other iOS devices is a significant advantage, especially for those without Apple's advanced headset.

Game Room on Apple Arcade with Word Wright

Despite the excitement around Game Room, the Apple Vision Pro has not transformed the AR landscape as dramatically as anticipated. Even skeptics like myself were taken aback by Apple's decision to halt production of the much-hyped device. Nonetheless, Resolution Games, the developer behind Game Room, has demonstrated foresight by ensuring their title remains versatile across multiple iOS devices, promising longevity and continued enjoyment for fans.
