Nico Papalia, creator of Athenian Rhapsody, has revealed Goobie Garden, a fresh mobile game. Initially a livestream experiment, it evolved into a robust live-service title.
What began as a playful concept grew into an ambitious project. This mobile game blends inspiration from Animal Crossing, Pocket God, Mario Kart, and Pokémon Go.
What Is Goobie Garden?
Goobie Garden is a creature-collecting adventure. It offers a dynamic, seasonal world focused on customization and community interaction. Players hatch quirky creatures called Goobies, each with unique names, jobs, elements, and personalities.
Raising Goobies involves feeding them and answering questions that shape their traits. Occasionally, players can even punch them—oddly, this isn’t considered cruel!
Every interaction influences the Goobies’ evolution paths, guiding them toward their ultimate forms.
Thunder Goober, a familiar face from Athenian Rhapsody, serves as the mascot. The game sets three core objectives: complete the Goobiedex, evolve Goobies through bonding, and assemble a team for PvP auto-battles to earn monthly rewards.
As a free-to-play live-service game, Goobie Garden will feature monthly updates, including new Goobies, realm decorations, shifting seasonal settings, and a variety of gear and cosmetics.
