Recently, CD Projekt RED has released an exciting update for Cyberpunk 2077, introducing not only a suite of fixes but also integrating cutting-edge NVIDIA technology.
With the inclusion of DLSS 4 support, owners of GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards can now enjoy the generation of multiple additional frames, enhancing their gaming experience. This technology will be available starting January 30th, and it also accelerates the creation of one extra frame on both RTX 50 and 40 cards, all while being more memory-efficient.
For users of all GeForce RTX graphics cards, the update allows the selection between the traditional convolution neural network model and the innovative transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting, enhanced detail, and more stable imagery.
Several issues related to DLSS have been resolved, including interference and crashes on in-game screens when DLSS ray reconstruction is enabled. Moreover, the "Frame Creation" parameter now correctly updates after resolution scaling is disabled.
Key changes in update 2.21 for Cyberpunk 2077 include:
- Fixed a bug that prevented interaction with certain vendors.
- Corrected a bug causing the sound of TV news programs to be missing or too quiet.
- Addressed a bug that resulted in Johnny appearing in the passenger seat less frequently.
- Fixed an issue where some items would disappear when the player hides the people around them.
- Resolved a bug that caused the game to freeze when entering photo mode and simultaneously opening a closet or stash.
- In Photo Mode, players can now position Nibbles and Adam Smasher within the frame if Vee is in the air or water.
- The feature that alters Adam Smasher's facial expressions has been enhanced.
